Aunt
Toot's has the largest hibiscus flowers I have ever seen! A beautiful, deep red, they are the size of a large bonnet! I have my hand next to one to give some perspective to the size. Each flower blooms early in the morning, waving its lovely head during the daylight hours, only to wither and die by nightfall.

The other afternoon we were sitting in Aunt
Toot's TV room when what, to our surprise, strolled past the sliding glass door?
An entire rafter of wild turkeys!!! All I could think about was all of the delicious Thanksgiving dinners that seemed to be utterly aware that they were in a safety zone, where it was illegal to shoot them! Unlike the straggly, featherless turkeys my family raised one year, these were beautiful! Fat, thick with healthy, colorful feathers (the tail feathers have color in them), they
scavenged around the houses for snacks to eat!
We have also seen rabbits and chipmunks scurrying around getting ready for winter. A fun place, this is :-)
